JDK7 will be the next version of the Java platform and is scheduled for release later this year. This session will look at a number of the new features being included and how they affect developers. We'll be focusing on several areas including modularisation, small language changes and support for dynamically typed languages running on the JVM. We'll also give an update on how things are going with the inclusion of closures in Java which has been a particularly hot topic.
